how to get the BCC field to show in outlook 2003

I cannot find it for the life of me in options and that seems to be
the place it is to be found from my research online. Is there anywhere
else to look for it?

When I create a new email, one of the toolbars has Send, Accounts, etc...
and a button/pull-down that says options. If you click the down arrow on the
button, one of the items is BCC

Configure Outlook so that Word is NOT the mail editor. Open a new message
window, click View, and check "Bcc Field". Close the new mesage window.
All done. If you were using Word before, you can reconfigure Outlook to use
Word as the mail editor.

Any reason why you do not want to do this directly in the Word email editor?

I have outlook as my email editor and still cannot find the place to
check Bcc Field. This is very frustrating!

Because that's how I did it the first time I tried. I forgot about the
Options drop-down in the E-mail toolbar. You're correct, of course, that
reverting to Outlook's editor first is unnecessary.

What do you see when you open a new message window and click View?

That's Word as the email editor and not Outlook. See my reply I gave
earlier.
