How to give someone rights to modify their resource info

I want to give them the ability to take the company calendar that I've
created, modify it for their vacation and save it as a personal calendar.
I've given them rights to Edit/View the Enterprise Resource information but
it still doesn't seem to be allowing updates. Is there something that I'm
missing?
Or is there a better way to manage resource unavailable time without a
central administrator???

You might try the following steps:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin, then click Manage users and groups
3. Select the project manager in question and then click the Modify User
button
4. Expand the Categories section of the Modify User page
5. Copy the My Resources category to the Selected categories list
6. In the Permissions grid, select the Edit Enterprise Resource Data option
7. Click the Save Changes button

I've done that but the user still can't open the Enterprise Resource Pool
Read/Write.
Any other ideas?

I figured it out, but I had to give the user Portfolio Manager role in order
to accomplish this.
