I have Outlook 2007 installed and I have a Palm Tungsten E2 that is
compatable with Outlook XP. How do I install Outlook XP and save my
Office 2007 files, or canit be done?

You would need, within OL2007, to create a new data file in the old format,
copy your current data to that.
Close OL2007
Uninstall OL2007
Install OL2002, and connect it to the data file you created.
If you have a Vista pc, OL2002 is not fully compatible, and if you have the
office2007 suite you may have other problems

You need to export the pst from outlook 2007 to an outlook 97-2002 format
pst before you do anything. Then uninstall office 2007 and reboot, then
install office 2002.

Within OL, File>New>Data File.......follow the prompts for old 'type'

Once the pst is created you will have a second set of Personal folders,
shown in Folder View.
Simply copy data from your origonal set of personal folders to this. (Drag &
Drop or copy paste)

Once done & you've checked the data, close the set of personal folders
(After having checked properties of this Personal Folders, to asertain its
path & name)
Close OL, copy this data file to your chosed media.
Do not do anything, other than send /receive, with OL2007 until you have
connected the copied data to your other PC & checked it.
