How to have multiple people update a file

We have a set up where we would like a group of 4 project managers to be able
to update a set of ~50 projects interchangable. We can set the permissions
on the projects so all four people can update any project. The issue comes
from web updates. The web updates all go to the project manager assigned to
the project. Is there a way to have multiple people have access to the tasks
to accept and save changes to the projects?

One way to accomplish this would be to create a Project Server user account
in PWA and to name it something like Project Managers Team. Instead of
logging in as themselves, the project managers would all use this account
for logging into Project Server through Microsoft Project Professional and
for logging into PWA. Hope this helps.

This scenario is not supported out of the box. In order to do this you need
to share logons and passwords. You can work around this, rather clumsily,
using Project Server authenticated accounts for PMs to manage projects,
however you don't want two people performing updates under the same account
name at the same time. Therefore, a safe strategy might be to create a PM
account for every project with the same name as the project and assign the
same password to all these accounts and only give the password to the PMs.

I set up the account, but am not sure how to log onto PWA. When I go to the
website, it authenticates via windows. How do I log on to PWA with the
Project Manager account?

When you are logged into PWA, click the Log Out link in the upper right
corner of the Home page. Then enter the name of the new account and the
password. Hope this helps.
