How to hide completed Tasks in Outlook Today view

What can I do to see only incomplete tasks (dated & undated) in Outllook
Today view. Currently I see all completed tasks in this view. I set a filter
to see only uncompleted tasks in the Task View; this works, but doesn't
change the tasks displayed in the Outllook Today view.

Why not delete the completed tasks? You can't see them if they're not
there.
