how can i send an email but i don't want the receiver to know who
it is
from ?

Don't send it. Regardless of how you falsify the headers, the sending
mail host will still add its own headers and you can still be
identified, if necessary. If you want to hide, don't bother sending
the e-mail.

Your boss should get his head out of his backside.

Well, um, if he/she really is a boss then that means he/she has
underlings to control. So have your "boss" make one of his underlings
send the e-mail. Of course, if the employees won't go to the meeting
because the boss will be there then that person really isn't the boss,
is he/she?

set up another email user, instead of The Boss, call it Mr. Wonderful, and
give him permissions to it.

so there is no way outlook can be configured so as to hide the sender ID
..according to you guys is that the only solution is to setup another email
user and give him rights.i only have 2 hrs left to provide a solution (
creating another user will take a long time )

Send the mail using telnet.

Yea, like this "boss" person sounds capable of understanding how to do
that.

One of the reasons I didn't include steps how. He lost points with the
whole 'That'd take hours to get done and I need a solution in two hours'
thing.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, F. H. Muffman asked:
