How to I apply a template to an exsisting Excel file

XL templates aren't like Word templates - they don't attach to a
document. Once a file is generated from a template, it's disassociated
from the template.

A few preferences/settings can be transferred between
workbooks/templates:

-Color palette (Tools/Options/Color/Copy colors from...)
-Styles (Format/Style/Merge)

Generate a new file from the template. Copy your data to the new file.
