How to I change punctuation spacing

Two space-jam after punctuation

I have written a long manuscript inadvertently double spacing(as you would in
writing a letter) between sentences. Now I must change to single spacing, as
is proper for a manuscript. Any ideas?

How did you double-space?

Internally in a cell or by skipping a row between sentences?
