How to import GroupWise email and/or contacts into Outlook 2003 ??

One of our guys recently did that for a client who was converting to
Exchange. As I recall he set up Outlook as a client to the Groupwise
server (minor pain in the rear) and then exported all of their data
items to .PST files.

Can you try that?

Ah, the miracle of computers!... someone also said "To error is human, but
to really screw up it takes a computer!"

Thank you very much for the reply.

What I have is...

1. a folder called 'ofiOmarc'

2. in the folder are several hundred email files named with numbers like
'45990865.002','45990865.003', etc

3. also in the folder with the email files are the following files...
msg.db
ngwguard.db
ngwguard.dc
ngwguard.fbk
ngwguard.rfl
ofcheck1.log
ofcheck2.log
usr.db

No longer have access to the server.

Ugh. Well...I've never tried to import from a scenario like that. You
might Google for a utility to import Groupwise files and see if any of
those will do it. Or you might cruise over to the Groupwise forums at:
http://forums.novell.com/novell-product-support-forums/groupwise/ to ask
over there if anybody knows how to push those files into Outlook.

Hi Ben,

PMJI but...

A few days ago, I posted about a hassle I am having with an
import attempt:

<[email protected]>

(I've not received a response.)

Might you check that out and offer me an opinion?

Many thanks,

Thanks for the followup reply.

1. the 'ofiOmarc' folder was the GW source for all emails when I was
connected to the server

2. will try your suggestions... guess there is never an easy way :)
