How to insert document w/pics in e-mail body & keep formatting?

How can I insert a document that has pictures into the body of an e-mail (I
have Outlook and Word 2003) while still keeping all the original formatting
(spacing, text boxes, etc.)? I tried "copy and paste" and while it pasted
the pictures and the text box, the spacing was off quite a bit.

I want to send documents to friends who have firewalls that remove ALL
attachments.
