How to Install Office 2003 on Vista 64 bit system?

I have a new HP laptop w/ vista 64 bit system. I was told by the seller that
I could install and use the Office 2003 that I already have. The computer
will not let me install it. Can anyone help? The computer comes with a
trial Office 2007. Do I need to uninstall this trial 2007 to get the 2003 to
install?

You must uninstall the trial and any activation wizard for MS Office that
may be located on the computer (check Control Panel, Programs and Features.)
Once uninstalled, reboot the computer. If you have further issues, let us
know.
