how to install office on a 2nd computer

I have Office S&T Ed.2003 that came on laptop. Now I have new desktop and
want to install Office on it. As I recall, I can do this 3 times or such. I
have the CD, product key, etc. and don't want to bother with trial
installation. How do I do this? Harry T.

If it was preinstalled on the laptop, you can't. I would suggest reading the
end user license agreement to see what your copy says.

If you have the CD and the Product key, and the licence permits it, just
stick the CD in the new computer and follow instructions. Installation won't
be a problem - and, providing you stay within the licence terms, there is no
reason to think Activation shouldn't work just as well.
