How to install Windows Student 2003 on laptop without cd drive?

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a new mini laptop which due to size does not have
a dvd/cd drive. I have already previously purchased a copy of Office Student
& Teacher 2003 Edition and wanted to know if I can download this off the
microsoft website anywhere and enter the product key??
( I don't want to download the newest 2007 office because I don't like it
and it isn't compatiable with the older versions ).

The only other option is for me to buy a external cd/dvd drive and use that.

Thanks!

Two thoughts - one, copy the entire CD to a thumbdrive and install from
that. Secondly, presumably the vendor of your mini laptop provided a
Recovery CD/DVD? How are you going to use that without an external DVD/CD
drive?

"and it isn't compatiable with the older versions"
Yes it is, it can both open older version docs, and save new docs in the old
format.

Hello
You had office 2003 Student and Teachers but since you did not have DVD
Drive you can download it from the following location and then you can use
the dumb to install office 2003 on your laptop but you need to have your
Product Key handy when you install the program.
The link will be as follows.

Hope that it will resolve the issue,
Thanks and Regards

I dont know why you posted a reply to me, with a download link to office
standard, which will not accept a 2003 key
