How to Join Tables in Word for Mac 2004

Does anyone know how to join 2 tables in Word for Mac? This is not a problem
in PC versions - you place the cursor between the two tables and backspace...
but how do you do this in the Mac version?

GUESS: You can try cutting out table 2 and pasting it right at the end
of table 1.
