How to keep correct aspect ratio when copy-paste from Visio2002 to Word2002?
When I copy-paste from Visio2002 to Word2002 the aspect ration is not right
(a circle is not a circle any more). I need to correct the aspect ration to
1/1.07 to get the right picture.

Hi Gert,

Visio can, in some cases use more precision than Word
in graphics area and the Drawing toolbars, Draw=>Grid settings
can play a part as can the information in
Tools=>Options=>General=>Web Options=>Pictures, among other
factors. The graphics card and printer drivers as well.

What size is the circle you're creating? Which method
are you using create the graphic in Visio and which method
in this article are you using to transfer the graphic?

Are both Word and Visio up to date (http://officeupdate.com)

I believe that when you import graphics from visio into Word they are
imported in WMF format, via an EMF conversion. Word has a maximum image size
for WMF files. If the original file is larger than this then it will get
compressed or cropped.

Microsoft's online help in Word suggests that in this case you insert the
graphic as a picture, rather than embedding it as an object.
