How to know what rule or junk filter moved a message to "deleted items"
folder in Outlook 2002?

I have asked the same, both on Outlook 2003 and OE and been told there is no
way to tell :-( I sure would like to know as sometimes my rules decide
that most everything is junk, even if I do add the sender to my address
book. If you ever get a answer, please let me know !

Ok

It may be possible to organize your rules in priority and use the option
"stop processing rules" to prevent a wanted item from getting kicked
into the deleted items list. Other than that you will have to get a 3rd
party solution.....


Suggest you get spampal www.spampal.org it tags the subject line with a
token that indicates the rule ie:
**SPAM** **SPAM CHI-KOR 202.106.127.65 BODY** Sleep-Aid-40%-off

the ip address was in the chinese-korean block list of known spammers.
You then use a rule that moves **SPAM** into the deleted items list.
