How to let people to click and download easily

Hi folks, I'm new to this forum - does anyone know how in FP03, i can provide
a function where people can click an object/link to bring up a dialog box to
allow them to download a file to their computer? At the moment, i have to
request people right-click the link, and save as target, etc.. but this is
cumbersome.

Place the file in a zip file. These always download.
If the browser knows how to handle the file (Word document, .pdf, image,
etc.) then it will open in the browser unless you use the right click
technique. Browsers cannot open .zips - so .zips always download with
left or right click.
