Letting others work on .xsn template file?

I'm currently using InfoPath to reconstruct some forms digitally. How
can I let other people view and edit the .xsn template file from other
computers? The security/permissions thing has been a real problem and
I don't see how they could think everyone working with InfoPath would
be working alone. I managed to accidentally allow one of the files to
be viewed on another computer for one of the three files I am working
on with some other people. We need to be able to alter the .xsn file
across several computers before it can be published, etc.

I'm not looking to embed the file or use any scripts with it and I'm
hoping to just have to pass around the .xml or .xsn file to whoever
ultimately needs to fill out the form (really don't want to have to
host it or put the .xsn file on a shared drive unless that's the only
way it works).

Also: Is there a way I can present the .xml form in such a way that
people can search the text of the form itself (not the entries)?
