How to link Admin Project effort to a project effort

Hi All,

I want to track the unplanned task effort in the project effort metircs. I
am using Administrative Project to track the unplanned task effort. When I
enter number of hrs i spend for each unplanned task, it is taken separately
under the Administrative Project effort not under the actual project for
which that time is spent. How can I link these Administrative Project task
effort to the actual project effort?

Also, a single Administrative project is used to track the unplanned tasks
across organisation and across all the projects, so we should be able to link
these unaplnned to task to mupltiple projects tasks. Is it possible or else
what is the solution?

Ealry response will be more helpful.

Vani:

Add a task or tasks to each project for this type of work capture. Do not
use a separate Admin project, as you have already experienced that there is
no way to reassociate this effort with the original plan. Use Admin projects
to capture unplanned-non-project work.
