How to "link" two drawn lines togeth to create a right angle

Can someone please advise how to "join" two drawn lines together to create a
small right angle or provide an alternative.

Select both segments and use Draw | Group on the Drawing toolbar.

Can someone please advise how to "join" two drawn lines together to create a
small right angle or provide an alternative.

Draw the lines. While the second one is still selected, hold down the Ctrl key
and click the first one, so they're both selected. Right-click one of them and
choose Group > Group.
