how to make a book - landscape ie. 2 pages on each 8.5" by 14" p.

I am confounded - can enter paper size as 8.5 by 14, but cannot get Publisher
to hold that command to import my Word doc into that format. I want a
book/booklet landscape on that size of paper that would turn out with each
page being 7" by 8.5".
I would really appreciate some help before I go looney bins! Thanks.

Setup your booklet in page setup. Select legal, landscape. Create a text box on page
one and page two, link the two boxes, copy and paste the text from Word, Publisher
will automatically create text boxes and pages to fit. Publisher will not import a
Word document into this setup, you will have to copy/paste.
