I send a weekly email to one particular person, with an Excel file attached.
Each week the file is updated before being sent. Recreating the message
every week has become cumbersome, and I've been looking for easier/quicker
ways to complete the task.
Using some very helpful advice I found elsewhere in this community, I was
able to create a template email message and assign a button on my toolbar to
open it. It all works great, except for one thing: the attachment is the
old version. To get the new version I have to take the old one off and put
the new one on.
Is there any way to have it automatically update the file? I don't rename
it each week, so it would just be a matter of looking for the newest version.
Or do I just need to take the attachment out of the template and attach it
by hand each week?
