how to make line jumps

I've followed all the directions for making line jumps (such as select
connector, right click, select behavior...nothing), but just can't make the
line jump function work. Help!!

menu File -> Page Setup -> Layout and Routing

Note that this only works for true connectors. Try it on a simple
flowchart diagram first and copy the settings.
