How to Make My Macros Work on Other PC's

B

Brett

Now that I have created my protected forms document and
included my macros, I sent it out to the field people.
But, when they try to perfrom spell check, for example, it
is grayed out. But it is not grayed out on my computer.
So, are my macros not being understood by their PC's? Is
it a function of the macros security feature? Or what?

Thanks,

Brett

Are you sure you saved the macro in your forms template/document and not in
Normal.dot? Have the users enabled macros when they opened your document or
created a document from your template? If their Macro Security is set to
High, they won't even get this option.

You have to specifically select your template or document and save it there;
with the setting you used, it was saved in Normal.dot, which is *available*
to all active documents and templates. I can see that that would be
misleading.
