how to make Powerpoint presentation open in slide show view

I want to make it so that when I click on the file it automatically opens in
slide show view without me have to selct it myself. Is this possible?

Demetric,

open your presentation

file menu
Save As...
change the filetype from "presentation" to "powerpoint show"

That will change it from a .ppt to a .pps

..PPS files are generally set to "automatically start in slideshow view"

When you save your presentation and the dialog box drops

down and you name the presentation, below the file name
box is the "save as type" dialog box. There using the
drop down arrow, scroll through the list of "types" until
you get to "presentation." Name your file and save it as
a presentation. That way when you open your Ppt. it will
open to the show.
