How to make query design views open narrower

Does anyone know how to make the query design view open with fewer columns
showing -- i.e., narrower? TIA!

Why post the same question twice?

As far as I know, the MS Access Query Design window opens as-is. Is there a
reason you want to see fewer columns in design mode? (recall that the
"extra" columns don't show in display mode)

The question was posted twice because the first time a popup told me that
there had been an error and it had not been posted.

The reason I'd like it to open narrower is that I can only use 1024x748
resolution, and in that resolution the query design view runs off the screen
to the right.
