How to make Report automated

Hi, everyone,
I have created a report through CrossQuery to work out the accumulated cost
and the proceeding three-month cost related. But I have to re-format the
report in order to meet the requirement monthly. I would like to simplify
the procedure by setting the formula direcly in Report in order to eliminate
the time consumed monthly for CrossQuery and report reformat. What should I
do to automate the report for such purpose. My existing report format is as
below:

Product ID Month X Month Y Month Z YTD (i.e. from Month 1 to
Month Z)

Please advise.
