Have you checked the Font folder to see if they are still installed? What
printer do you have set as the default?

Many Thanks for your quick reply.

I have not really printed from this notebook.
There are three printer, Adobe, SnagIt, and MS Office Document Image.
And the default printer is MS Office Document Image (it has a check mark)
I check all fonts are in the font floder.
Maybe I will copy fonts from other computer tomorrow.
You think that will help?

Your precise reply to quickly resolve this will be very very much appreciated.

Thank you for your kind helps.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I install a HP LaserJet-5P, but it does not work.
I also tested by having someone send me Tahoma & Times New (totally 6 true
fonts files)
and put into the Font Floder.
Still no text apprear on the menu. I tested everything.

(as a reminder, my sys is XP-home + Office-2003)

I don't think this is the same case as you written in the article.
I can see all listed fonts (include Tahoma & Times New).
And when I test a line that already typed, I changed font from Century to
Times,
one word on the middle line disappeared.
Also I now can type with Times font, but the first word disapprear, and the
following words are disappeared until I hit the spacebar.

I think this reflects instability of MS Office itself.
Even this newsgroup is very slow and always providing
error messages "Sorry, the page you requested is not available."

I feel bad now. I probably have to wait until I back from this trip to
reinstall office.
Probably even MS itself cannot do anything bout this.
I recalled this happened once to my friend with Office2000, but he did
reinstalled.

And might have to get WordPerfect.
