How to massively change outlook contact's category?

When I add number into Nokia mobile, then synthesize with outlook, even
through number is classified as phone number under my mobile phone, but
outlook classify it as other category. That is the big problem, when my Sony
Ericsson synthesize with Outlook, all numbers cannot display, because Sony
Ericsson would not recognize any phone number under other category. I don't
want to change 1000 phone number from other category into phone number
category.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to massively change the contact's
category?

You can export your Outlook Contacts to an Excel file. Here you can easily
change the column header to reflect the correct phone number type.
After you have made the change, delete the contacts from Outlook (or move
them to a separate Contacts folder to create a temporary backup) and then
import the Contacts again into Outlook.

If all things went successful, remove the contacts from your phone before
synchronizing so you are sure no duplicates will be created.
