How to merge Personal Folders default calendars?

My MS OL 2003 (XP) created by default 1 calendar per "Personal
Folders" (on 2 different disks). I am not totally sure why it did
that, but I am not very happy with this default, as meetings seem to
go in different folders accordingly to the location of the email
requests.

I'd like to manage only one calendar but keep my 2 separate folders. I
tried to delete one of the calendar, keeping only the one located in
the mailbox. That failed with the error, "cannot delete special
folders"...

Is there a way to keep only one calendar or merge these 2 calendars
together or somehow simplify this setup?
