How to merged

Is this possible?
I have imprted a picture in a layer and added af new layer on top of it
white some writing.
How can I make it to one layer, so when I copy, the text and picture will be
together?

I don't like that program, and it seems like when I put in the text, I can't
move it around.....

But thanks any way...

I believe this is possible in effect.

Click on your first layer with the picture in it (it must stay selected).
Insert > Layer and add you text to that.

Now they should be linked and when you move the picture, the text comes with
it and when you copy the layer with the picture the text layer is copied as
well. However, you can still select the layer with the text and move it
independently if you want. Hope that helps.

Then you could buy a graphics program like Photoshop or Fireworks...
