How to Modify Source Paths?

Receive the following msg: Command line option syntax
error. Type command /? for Help

Knowbase says: Causes: This error occurs when you install
office 2000 from a source that contains spaces in the
path name.

Fix is: Modify the source path so that it doesn not have
any spaces.

Fine but nowhere can I find out on how to do the fix. Any
help would help.
