how to move text up with the keyboard

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

in powerpoint 04, it was possible while editing text (like bullet points) to move a whole paragraph or bullet point above the previous one or below the next one by doing cmd-shif-up or down arrow. this super useful shortcut seems to have disapeared from ppt 08. has anyone found a work around? could msft please re-enable it?
