How to not receive animated signatures?

Is there a way to not receive animated signatures? It drives me insane when I
have to read repeated messages from the same senders who use animated
signatures.

Tell the sender that you will block any further e-mails from them if
they continue using worthless, irritating, and fluffy glitz in their
signatures.
