how to open a specific file using command button?

Hello,
How can I use a command button to open a specific
file from a Form. I know there is an option to open MS
word as such, but how to extend this to opening a specific
file?!?

You can select the file using code such as
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm at "The Access Web".

Once you know the file, you can open it using the FollowHyperlink method, or
code such as http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0018.htm
