How to open label template

I get a blank page when trying to open a label in "new document". I have
clicked on the "show gridline", with no effect, still getting a blank page.
I am not familiar with registry fixes. Any other suggestions?

Does the title bar show Labels# for the new document that you mention?

What exactly do you mean by "open a label in a new document"? If you access
the labels tab of the Envelopes and Labels dialog and then click on the new
Document button in that dialog, you should get a new document (with a name
in the status bus of Labels#) containing a page of the selected labels with
the Grid Lines visible.
