how to open mdb files

how i should down load and open any *.mdb files? what is the appropriate
programme to run *.mdb files? how to download these programmes ? please
answer to me these questions very fast.

An mdb file is a microsoft database. The open with Access. Later versions
of Access will open earlier version mdb files, but not the other way round.
Later versions will open them in a compatible mode, so for example Access
2003 will open an Access 2000 file and keep it in that format, so you can
develop a database according to which version it will be deployed on. Also,
you can convert earlier versions up to later ones.

I don't believe you can download Access; it has to be purchased as part of
Office, or on its own.
