How to open .ppt files from MS Office 4.2?

I have numerous .ppt files that were created with the version of Powerpoint
that was included in the MS Office 4.2 package (mid-90's). I would
appreciate any suggestions that might help me open them with Powerpoint 2007.

I think that Office 4.2 may have been a MAC version. regardless 2007 cannot
open the files you will have to try with an earlier version
