How to parse inserted symbols in WORD document

Hi MSFT-Nik,
Please provide more detailed information, such as
1. Version of Word
2. Type of symbols (font?)
3. How the symbols were created/inserted into the text
4. Why you're having difficulties (why the results you're
getting aren't "usable")
FWIW you're more likely to get good information on this in
the word.vba.general newsgroup. There are a couple of
people there with good experience in working with the
character sets in Word documents.
