How to password protect multiple .doc files with password

I am new to this site and apologise if this has been previousl
answered.

I have a mail merge document that I am able to merge and save individua
documents based on a field in the merge. I am able to do this fro
information on www.gmayor.com which was extremely helpful.

I would now like to ask if it is possible to save each file wit
individual password protection using a different password for each file
again based on an alpha-numeric value in the merge data (e.g. Individua
ID).

I have seen the thread detailing how to allocate the same password t
each file.

I am grateful in advance for any assistance any one may be able t
offer.
