How to place text on clipart?

I built a table and then in the background in each cell, clipart of note pads
or borders or whatever. How do I place the text on the backgrounds without
floating? I drew textboxes but they show up all over the place. I tried
making tables within the table but they want to be separate from the clipart.

Insert the images as a cell background image, then insert your text directly into the cell and use
the cell alignment properties.

DUH! Thank you both!

If you want to do it the easy way...dont use textboxes...make the notepad graphics actually contain your text by using an image editor. In other words make it one graphic image.

Problem with placing the text as part of the image, is that search engines can not read/index the
text, if search engine indexing is important to you.

Edit the image in an image editor; use the text tool of that particular
editor.

thank you, I realized that but it isn't an index page, and there is plenty of
searchable text on the item pages.
