How to place the address on post cards? Word wants left center.

Mail merge appears not to work with fields in text boxes. How can one place
the name and address codes in a specific area as on post cards where the
address must be located right of center and centered vertically and contain
wrap space for long names.

That's because text boxes are in the drawing layer and fields need to
be placed in the text layer. You need convert your text boxes to
Frames: right-click the text box and select "Format Text Box" and on
the Text box tab you'll find the "Convert to Frame" command.

Should you need the Frames command in the future you can find it on
the Forms toolbar.
