How to prevent e-news from 2000 displaying as mark-up view in 2003

"When I click on the newsletter, my new XP MS 2003 brings up the 'Reviewing'
Toolbar and the 'Final Showing Markup' view, which I would imagine that you
would not normally want end users to view"

How would I advise anyone how they might prevent that happening?
