how to prevent username from 'sticking' on email?

I work with two Pat's and they are from different businesses.
I am constantly sending the wrong Pat my emails.
I make changes in my addresss file, but as soon as Pat sends an email to me,
moves into priority and bumps what i had created.
what to do? I can't keep sending my emails to the wrong Pat.

You'll either need to disable autocomplete or pay more attention to the
names you select. When you type their names, using their last name initial
(Pat A or Pat B) will help too. (If they are both Pat A, use the second
letter.)
