How to print a Publisher banner containing background?

I have to print a banner (1.5 meters). I'm printing this banner on a HP
Laserjet printer on 5 lansdscape pages. The problme that I have is that only
the first 3 pages have background and the rest have all the text and pictures
but without background. I checked the print preview and it looks as the
background is for the whole banner. I repeted the printing again with another
background and still the same result . I tryed to troubleshoot this issue and
the only thing I've seen is that can be a problem with the memory of the
printer (I checked if the memory displayed on the printer self test matches
the memory instaled in the printer driver).
Now I'm very confused and I cannot think of any way to troubleshoot this
issue. Can you help (any thing will help)
