How to print background in order not to get white edges?

martin

Whenever I set something as a background (a picture, a color) I get white
edges when i put on print preview?

How can i have full page set to that color or picture?

You probably can't. Most printers are incapable of printing to the edge and
the preview is reflecting what the printer driver will allow.

What if I want to print it later into a pdf, which can pefectly handle to the
edge pictures:)?

Select your Adobe "printer" as the active printer while you are creating the
document; then Print Preview will show you what will "print" to PDF.

Thanks a lot! Everything works superbly!

Another tiny question, though, how to set different background colors for
the first page and for following pages.

Thanks already in advance!

If you have checked "Different first page" on the Layout tab of Page Setup,
you should be able to have a different watermark in the First Page Header.

I would appreciate if you could explain a little bit more.

I want to set the full page to color, not only the headers.

A "background" is just a watermark; a watermark is a graphic anchored to the
header so it will repeat on every page.

Can you please explain step by step, how can i get the specified document.
