how to protect a formula, yet not have the worksheet be read only

Help!!! How do I protect a formula in a workbook that I am sharing with
other users? I have a workbook that needs to be sent to me via email
everyday and there are formula's in it that are constantly being deleted from
other users. I can't protect the workbook, or the worksheet, because when I
do, it becomes read only. The workbook can not be read only because the
other users need to enter their daily sales in, and then re-send it to me.
So they have to be able to enter text in the workbook, just not in the cells
that have formula's in it. Is there a way to do this? Please help!!!!

You have to protect worksheets to prevent other users from screwing u
formulas and any other content. You need to unlock cells that thes
other users would use for data entry, then protect the worksheets. T
unlock selected cells, run the menu command Format > Cells..., selec
the Protection tab, uncheck the Locked checkbox, click on the O
button. Do this for all cells in which users should be allowed to ente
data, then protect the worksheet
