You could send the diagrams to them in a jpg image file type

I was being facetious, of course.

I forgot to add that you can protect the document or shapes or other options
by View | Windows | Drawing Explorer; right-click on the file, choose
Protect Document, tick the items you want to protect and enter the required
password.
