How to protect document from being revised

We have forms saved in Word 2000. I would like people at
the office to use these forms WITHOUT CHANGING ANY OF THE
CONTENTS. In short, access will only be allowed for
filling in the blanks. Is it possible to have the main
body of the documents as read only & the "blanks" are
accessible for typing in info? I am talking about Leasing
Forms & Agreement forms.
I have read about templates, but from what I understand
anyone can still make changes to the original forms.
Pls help.

Perhaps using a locked Form would be of use. Visit
word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfms/LinesInForms.htm to see if
this will helpful.
