Hi Chris,
Can you tell a bit more? Do you want the text, an image of the document,
the actual document itself, or doesn't it matter? Will the show be
distributed or just shown by you? What version of PowerPoint are you using?
Here's why.
A textbox control (different than regular textboxes) can be placed in the
PowerPoint slide and the text placed in it. When the box exceeds the drawn
size, it can show a scrollbar. This will show the text from a document, but
not the document itself.
An image of the document can be placed on the slide and the image moved
around to scroll past the viewable part of the slide using pre-set
animations or VBA routines
While VBA can be used to move images, it will not work on the viewer or on
systems not set-up for it. So if the presentation will be distributed to
others, these VBA solutions are not viable.
